My Love Affair With Justin Long And Compulsive Shopping

Gah, he's so damn cute! I'm a sucker for funny, awkward, kinda gangly, cute white guys I 'spose. I gushed about Hugh Jackman during the Oscars (Flamboyantly sexy man he is...) and recently gushed about the very sultry sensuous Scarlett Johansson during He's Just Not That Into You.

But as I continued to enjoy the film, I remembered how much more charming and accessible (though never so, obviously) Justin Long seems. He's charming, funny, and just damn cute!

Now for the review.

I was surprisingly impressed with this film. I came in with all the proper expectations (gushy chick flick, predictable plot) You know what, the key to enjoying anything (or anyone) is knowing what you’re going to, because at least you leave room for surprise and not so much for disappointment. The actors involved, the plot, pure dramedy of it all was all well balanced and enjoyable. And I loved Gigi’s character as portrayed by the delightful Ginnifer Goodwin. She was naïve, vulnerable, and completely believable in her role.

I related most with her character. That’s me, head to toe (a few pounds heavier and less trendy wardrobe) So where’s my Justin Long?!?! Oh well, I'll settle for a mac! *wink wink*

On a side note, I did it again. I entered Border’s and HAD to buy something. I mean, Watchmen is a must but a book about useless information and a trashy sleezy Book Thong (I just get a kick out of calling it a thong)… unnecessary additions to my purchase.

Utada United 2006 - Utada Hikaru

Most of you will know this musical prodigy from her music on Kingdom Hearts I & II!!! I have to admit, that's how I discovered her as well but soon came across her body of work and fell in absolute love with this girl!!!!

Utada United is an album I downloaded of the live performances of her big national (Japan) tour encompassing her entire great career. I’m hooked, her vocals are sharp and beautifully broken when emotion calls for it. This whole album is 2 hours long, the concert sometimes up to 3 hours, and still her vocal quality is impeccable all through out! She has fantastic performances of some of my favorite songs as well as new songs I’ve grown to love as well!

She’s a great performer, artist, poet, and damn she’s just so cute!!

KAWAIIDESU!!!!!!

Comic Books: I used to be an avid DC Comics collector but that blew up in my face really fast which sucks big time. Now I am a Top Cow/Marvel collector. The Darkness and Witchblade, as well as Uncanny X-Men from 500+. I'll pick up a few Graphic Novels here and there!

TV: I watch a LOT of TV. Heroes, Gossip Girl, House M.D., Smallville (Dont Judge Me!), Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Dog Whisperer, Making the Band 4 (Stop Judging Me!) E! everything, history channel, and so much more!

Movies: I love going to the movies, especially on free Movie Tuesdays! I will see anything and review it all! I'm anticipating a lot of great films to watch this year! Whoo!!!

Faves: Spanglish, The Breakfast Club, Iron Man, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (also one of my fave novels!) and ANYTHING DISNEY!!! Like Wall - E and Lion King!!!

I'm not sure there's anything else you need to know.

Aside from a list of my recurring characters (family/friends/coworkers) but that's just for those who care!!!
